Barking Elim Church is affectionately known as ‘Be Church’ where God has given us the mandate to truly live out ‘being the Church’ that He desires for this world. Our vision statement was birthed out of Isaiah 61.
Barking Elim Church is one of over 600 UK churches and over 4000 churches around the world that form the network of Elim Pentecostal Churches.
The Hub
When God leads you in a vanguard move!
In 2020, the leaders of three East London Elim churches (Barking, East Ham and Dagenham) began supporting one another through the challenges of leading a church through a pandemic. Pitsea Elim Church joined in 2023 and then Ashingdon Elim and Rayleigh Elim in 2024. This partnership in the Gospel is known as The East Gateway Hub.
God is continuing to lead the leadership and congregations of the ‘Hub’ in forming connections in prayer, ministry and vision that builds His Kingdom in the UK, from the east, along the Thames gateway, into London.
The East Gateway Hub is made up of Barking Elim, East Ham Elim, Dagenham Elim, Estuary Elim (Ashingdon & Rayleigh) and Pitsea Elim.
